Nawlins

We've been to New Orleans half a dozen times and so we spent only part of one day looking around and remembering the crowds and crazy traffic on narrow streets.  Parking anywhere near the French Quarter is bad enough, but don't even try in a pick-up truck with dual rear wheels. We learned this last year, so this time we parked on a neighborhood street a few miles away near St. Charles Street and rode the trolley into town.  Here are a few of the things we saw walking around for an hour or so.

St. Charles St. Trolley - Best way to go to French Quarter and downtown.

If you visit and see nothing else, you gotta stroll Bourbon Street.

Look close and you can see the loose wires hanging below the balcony!  Had to get a shot of that dangerous situation!

Ain't she? cute?

Now I know where they get all those beads - they grow them on these bead trees!
Probably the Best Pizza we've ever eaten!... Riggatellis on Magazine Street
