HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
We've been in Florida since late October and stayed at Fort Desoto Park in St. Petersburg four nights and watched the International Shuffleboard Tournament at the St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club in downtown St. Pete. On November 1st we pulled into Winters Park in Zephyrhills, FL. We've spent the last nine years in Zephyrhills and really like the area. I am scheduled for Prostate Cancer Surgery March 3rd in Kissimmee, FL, so we plan to move over there February 3rd and stay until I can travel, probably in early April.
June and I have confirmed our 2014 plan, which begins in Florida. We haven't decided a specific departure date, but when we leave, we will head to Arizona, then due North thru Utah and Yellowstone by early June. **UPDATE - Surgery was a success, departure date is 4/24** We have accepted a Camp Host position at Buffalo Bill State Park, North Shore Campground near Cody, WY starting June 15th thru Sept. 1st. We've been to Yellowstone and Cody, WY a few times and love the area, so spending the summer there will be a treat.
We'll spend a couple months getting to Yellowstone and Cody, and will post our stops here on the Blog. Can't wait to get started!
