Slow Start

We've had an uneventful start with our first few days at Williston, FL where we attended an RV rally.

After Williston, we spent a couple days at Torreya State Park.  A nice State Park with some pretty trails.

 

From Torreya, we travelled to Gulf Breeze, FL and a couple days at Ft. Pickens National Park and the Gulf Shore.

 

 

 

 

From here we'll move over near New Orleans for three nights.

One more day!

Today is Wednesday, March 20th - We sold the house, moved out our stuff to a storage locker, loaded the 5th wheel, and now ready to leave tomorrow morning.  We've been here in this Florida senior neighborhood for nine years and have been itching to get moving. People here are great and we've enjoyed being here, but it's time for us to move on.  Sandy had a nice party for us last Friday  -A going away gathering with 40 or so friends in attendance. We were so surprised and honored that they would do this for us.  We also rec'd a very nice card signed by all of the neighbors on our street.  Then, at this past Monday night Jam Club show which we do every Monday during the winter months entertaining all who come, the club provided a cake and again thanked us for our contributions. A very humbling experience and we thank all who send us off so graciously.
